Herbal medicine has been used as a primary health care in Uganda by many rural communities before taking patients to the hospital. In this discussion, we discuss how we could accelerate the herbal medicine to the high quality production of medicines to improve health care in Uganda as the third SDG. As a Bioeconomy development an advancement potential field, we discuss what hinders its progress in its realisation.
